WW1 started with Russia helping out the Balkans when Austria Hungary attacked them. Germany joined A.H. and England and France joined Russia.

Women (and occasionally men) in WW1 stuffed TNT into shells in munitions factories, as a result their skin turned yellow and sometimes their hair turned green. Because of their skin colour they were called ‘canaries’. What is it in the TNT that did this? And how long would it have lasted?

What was the banned bayonet called that was used in WW1. It was like a saw/ feather, and if you were stabbed with one it would rip out your insides as it was pulled out. It was agreed upon both sides that it would not be used.
